It was found that if a person cut through the wire with either a knife or saw blade it would cause a short allowing the vehicle to unlock.

Ford had a major recall due to this but they only reconfigure the wiring system which will stop the vehicle from opening if the loom was cut.

However as there is no way thieves can tell whether the vehicle has been recalled so they are still persistently trying.

Made from a solid milled Aluminium block and powdered coated in white for improved visual deterrent the block cannot be by passed nor prised out the way unlike some other similar products on the market.
